Our Privacy Policy

We respect the right of our family members to live a private life without the details being made available to the internet community. Therefore our genealogy lists do not include details such as birth, death, marriage and divorce dates unless the person being described has been dead ten years or more. Even then we refrain from posting information where, in our judgement, there is a possibility of embaressment or discomfort to relatives still living.

We do not post details of where folk live or work, nor will we post pictures without the express permission of the subjects or in the case of minor children, the permission of their parents or guardians. The exception to this rule is group or action photos (such as reunion photos) where individuals will usually be identified by first name only.

Our internet privacy policy is simple: we collect NO data on any persons accessing this web site except what you provide. Unless you sign the Guestbook or leave a message on the Message Board we have no record of your being here. We use no cookies at this time. (If you use cookies, try to keep the crumbs out of the keyboard!)

Our web server software automatically records the IP address of machines requesting information in our access logs, but this is the IP Address of your Internet Service Provider's server. The best we can do is identify the city (sometimes only the country) a request comes from.
