Descendants of Lily Holmes 

This list of descendants of Lily Holmes is undoubtedly missing many individuals. Any help in making it complete would be appreciated. The information I have is that Stephen Chatry's name was not accurately translated by the immigration officials upon landing, and he was registered with a corrupted form of his true name. This was not an uncommon occurance among immigrants, whose mother tongue was different enough from English that officials often could not pronounce their true names let alone spell them. Hence, a search of a Canada wide telephone directory reveals a small handfull of "Chatrys", probably all related. 

Further enlightenment by the named individuals would be most gratefully received. Thanks to Diane Mar for help with some of the names on this page, and to Gordon Chatry for clearing up some errors and adding names as well.
